On our 32-day trip you’ll experience the best that Ecuador has to offer: Andean peaks, colonial churches, laid-back surfing villages, rustic villages and more. Throughout our trip you will work with amazing individuals who have received international recognition for their successful models of social change. Spending time with social entre-preneurs and the people they serve, you’ll discover first hand what it takes to create lasting social change, while developing relationships that will last a lifetime. Highlights

Week One:
-Explore the colonial grandeur of Quito (Pics coming soon...)
-Whitewater raft in the Andes
-Visit the world-famous Otavalo market
-Introduction to social entrepreneurship

Week Two:
-Visit the Amazon basin at the world-class Sani Lodge (Pics coming soon...)
-Go to Loja and work with Ashoka Fellow Lola Samaniego and her Urban Villages projects that empower poor women.

Week Three:
-Relax and unwind in stunning Vilcabamba (Pics coming soon...)
-Enjoy the cobblestone streets and soaring cathedrals of Cuenca

Week Four:
-Stay with local families in the eco-village of Piedra Blanca AND learn about the many sustainable agriculture projects of Ashoka Fellow Raul Cabrera (Pics coming soon...)
-Work with at-risk children in Chone whose lives have been changed by Mano Amiga and Ashoka Fellow Juan Andrade.

Week Five:
-Surf or splash in the unspoiled Pacific paradise of Canoa (Pics coming soon...)
-Return to Quito
-Return to the United States inspired and ready to change the world
